The Short Courses Program under the School of Design and Arts offers a concise learning package for students, professionals, or interested individuals seeking to learn specialized tools of the trade of the arts.

Whether it’s aiming for a one-year diploma or certificate course, learners will be able to unleash their creativity using state-of-the-art facilities and interactive learning approaches at their desired pace, and in a much shorter time.

Diploma in Web Design and Animation

Duration: 3 trimesters

Ready to immerse yourself for design and arts?

By providing students with the principles of web design and animation, they wil learn the skills required to create a captivating interactive website using the latest in computer graphic design and front end web development.

Certificate in Basic Web Design
Duration: 36 hours. Every Saturday, 9:00am - 4:00pm

Students who have the basic knowledge in digital imaging and animation will learn how to create and design web pages, use/create web templates, and moderate web assets.

Diploma in 3D Animation

Duration: 3 trimesters

Ever wondered how a storyboard comes to life?

By teaching students the principles of animation, they will be able to enhance their skills in storyboard, character design, background design, and animatics.

Certificate in 3D Modelling and Animation (3DS MAX)
Duration: 36 hours. Every Saturday, 9:00am - 4:00pm

Students will be introduced to modelling and visualization production using 3D models and environments, render materials, texture, light, and the basics of 3D animation production.

Diploma in Professional Photography

Duration: 3 trimesters

Do you have the eye to capture life's moment?

Acquire the techniques involved in working at a photography studio. Students will learn and adapt on different environments to capture moments through different types of photography.

Certificate in Basic Digital Photography
Duration: 36 hours. Every Saturday, 9:00am - 4:00pm

This hands-on workshop covers the fundamentals of photography. Students will learn from different activities such as product portraiture, landscape and nature photography, as well as the basics of lighting techniques.

Certificate in Special Effects for Video
Duration: 36 hours. Every Saturday, 9:00am - 4:00pm

By providing the essential techniques in creating motion graphics and special effects for digital video production, students will learn how to create animated compositions from simple transformations to advanced concepts using Adobe® AfterEffects.

Certificate in Digital Editing and Imaging
Duration: 36 hours. Every Saturday, 9:00am - 4:00pm

Students will be able to learn the skills on how to post process photos, manipulate images, and create original artwork.

Certificate in Digital Video Editing
Duration: 36 hours. Every Saturday, 9:00am - 4:00pm

This hands-on computer workshop will introduce students to digital video imaging and non-linear video editing using Adobe® Premiere.

Certificate in Basic Yoga

Duration: 36 hours. Every Saturday, 9:00am - 4:00pm

This intense yoga class will challenge the mind and body. It will help increase one’s flexibility and stamina, build strength and improve balance and concentration.
