Leaders are adventurous.

What’s more thrilling than playing video games is braving an infinite universe to create them. Our Interactive Entertainment and Multimedia Computing program is a hybrid discipline which combines the technical, art, and business aspects of gaming. As you build your portfolio of games ranging from small interactive mobile applications to complex PC- and console-based systems, you are also trained on how to run and manage a game development studio. As a student, you can enter one of two majors: Game Development or Game Art.

This course is for you if you believe that gaming is an essential part of life.

If you major in Game Development, you will learn to:

  • conceptualize online, offline and mobile games;
  • use basic programming for game development;
  • identify and use the most effective software for developing specific types of games;
  • develop back end systems for game operations; and
  • practice your profession profitably by applying contemporary marketing and business strategies.

If you major in Game Art, you will learn to:

  • conceptualize game user interface (UI) and user experience (UX);
  • apply traditional and digital art skills to creating game visuals;
  • create front-end design, layout and art that optimizes UI and UX; and
  • practice your profession profitably by applying contemporary marketing and business strategies.
