Step 1: Pre-Apply

Submit the following to the Benilde Admissions Center for evaluation. Pay the non-refundable admission processing fee of US$25. Await the results of the pre-application within two (2) working days from date of submission.

 

For Freshmen Applicants:

  • Photocopy of Transcript of Records authenticated by the Philippine Embassy of relevant countries of schooling (Present original for verification). If these records are written in a language other than English, complete and official English translations must be submitted together with the original records. The transcript should indicate all subjects taken and grades earned. The grading system should be clearly stated in the transcript.
  • Certificate of Graduation and/or Diploma

 

For Transferee Applicants:

  • Pre-Application Questionnaire
  • Original Transcript of Records authenticated by the Philippine Embassy of relevant countries of schooling [Present original for verification]. If these records are written in a language other than English, complete and official English translations must be submitted together with the original records. The transcript should indicate all subjects taken and grades earned. The grading system should be clearly stated in the transcript.

 

 Degree Programs Closed for 2nd Trimester SY 2019-2020:

  • Bachelor of Arts in Animation (ABANI)
  • Bachelor of Arts in Production Design (AB-PROD)
  • Bachelor of Arts in Theater Arts (ABTHA)
  • Bachelor of Science in Architecture (BS-ARCH)

 

Step 2: Complete the Application Forms

The Benilde admissions personnel will inform the applicant whether he/she is qualified to take the Benildean Entrance Examination after the pre-application process. If qualified, the applicant may pay the non-refundable admission processing fee of US$25.00. The applicant will receive a Benilde Admissions Kit.

 

Download, complete and submit the following application forms and requirements. Read the The Benilde Book for more information about program offerings.

  • Benilde Admissions Application Form
  • Three (3) copies of recent identical 2x2 pictures
  • Certified true copy of birth certificate
  • Certificate of Good Moral Character or Letter of Recommendation from the Principal or School Head of all schools attended
  • Photocopy of Alien Certificate of Registration (for permanent residents only)
  • Certificate of Graduation and/or Diploma (for freshmen applicants only)
  • Secondary Scholastic Record with official school seal (for applicants who studied in Philippine schools only)
  • Two copies of original Transcript of Records authenticated by the Philippine Foreign Service Post. If these records are written in a language other than English, complete and official English translations must be submitted together with the original records. The transcript should indicate all subjects taken and grades earned. The grading system should be clearly stated in the transcript.
  • For submission after acceptance to Benilde, photocopy of Test of English as Foreign Language (TOEFL) or International English Language Testing System (IELTS) results taken within 2 years from date of application (Present original for verification). This is NOT an admission requirement but is used for confirmation and enrollment purposes only.
    • Applicants born and raised in countries with English as one of its official languages.
    • Applicants who studied for 3 consecutive school years in the secondary and/or tertiary level, in an intermediate school or an English-speaking school. Applicants from English-speaking schools must submit a statement from their school that the institution uses English as a medium of instruction signed by the Registrar and affixed with the school seal.

 

Upon submission of complete application requirements and payment of the application processing fee, the applicant will be given a Benildean Entrance Examination (BEE) test permit.

 

Step 3: Take the Benildean Entrance Exam

Take the Benildean Entrance Exam (BEE) on the specified date. Take note of the following BEE test-taking guidelines:

  • Bring the following:
    • BEE Test Permit (No test permit, no exam)
    • Two (2) pencils
    • Jacket or sweater
    • Snacks for the 15-minute break

  • Examinees must be at the designated assembly area 15 minutes before exam time.
  • Latecomers will not be allowed to take the test. They are required to go to the Admissions Center for a new examination schedule in case other schedules are available.
  • Scratch papers will be provided. The use of calculator, dictionary, ruler, thesaurus and other aids are not allowed.

 

Step 4: View Application Results

Obtain the application results as directed. Application results may be accessed through the Online Application Inquiry page. Unless otherwise instructed, application status letters must be personally picked-up from the Benilde Admissions Center. They are NOT mailed. If you do not receive your results, please inquire directly at the Benilde Admissions Center.

 

The Honorable Dismissal or Transfer Credential is a requirement for enrollment of transferees who studied in Philippine schools.

 

A student visa is a pre-requisite for enrollment. Visit the Benilde Registrar's Office for details in relation to visa processing.
