I Have Been Here Before is a reflection of memory, of moments half-remembered yet deeply felt. It traces the quiet ache of growing up, as the warmth of childhood slowly fades into the distance of adulthood. It recalls the fragments that stay with us, shifting and reshaping as we move through time.
Each piece reimagines the past in tactile form, stitched, layered, and pieced together to hold what time has tried to take away. The collection becomes a gentle dialogue between who we were and who we have become, where nostalgia softly meets reality. Every garment carries the tenderness of remembering and the quiet weight of longing. It is both a remembrance of innocence and an embrace of loss. In returning to what once was, “I Have Been Here Before” finds comfort in the spaces where memory still breathes.
With a love for conceptual design, draping, and translating stories into garments, Kirsten Camille Bianzon is a fashion designer who creates from sentiment, memory, and empathy. Her work begins where emotions linger. Where thoughts turn tender and silence carries meaning.
Through her brand, KCB, she creates conceptual, made-to-order pieces that are more than clothing; they are fragments of a story, meant to be felt as much as they are worn. Each design is an echo of what it means to remember, to long, to understand. She creates to connect—to bridge her world with others, to remind us that our feelings are never solitary. She hopes that somewhere within her work, someone finds themselves and thinks, I’ve felt that too.
I remained grounded in my vision by trusting my instinct while welcoming feedback, particularly in construction and execution, allowing the collection to mature without losing its emotional core. Throughout the process, I came to understand my identity as a designer—deeply sentimental, yet light, playful, and expressive. Each piece became a vessel for personal experience, making the creative journey both intuitive and emotionally charged. While the concept stayed consistent, the collection evolved through the act of making, where experimentation became a form of discovery. The exploration of fabrics and techniques gave every garment its own voice, weaving individual stories into one cohesive narrative.
