“Designs from the Past, Threaded Backwards Towards the Future”

WORK IN PROGRESS is a collection born from my admiration for workwear and streetwear—two influences that have shaped my style and identity. Its name is a homage from my family’s former construction company, where I first observed the distinct character and function of workwear on job sites. Built on the idea of constant evolution, WIP reimagines rugged, utilitarian clothing through a modern contemporary lens, blending boxy silhouettes and streetwear aesthetics. The collection aims to expand the language of workwear by fusing Americana heritage with timeless, durable designs made to last.

Alec Dandan is a designer who bridges the gap between modern aesthetics and heritage staples. With experience in screen printing, CLO 3D, and the Adobe Suite, he brings both technical precision and attention to material quality in every piece he creates. His work reflects a commitment to designing garments that endure – pieces made to last, evolve, and stand the test of time.
