“Baubles” is when doll house fantasies come true. A love letter to the designer’s young self, this collection explores the early begins of an artist through stories, cartoons and art that inspired her. It is her childish whimsy turned tangible in the form of adorable clothing. Through naivity, juvenile wonderlust and that young feeling of inspiration, this collection gathers together all that inspired the young designer, her first stepping stone into becoming the creative she is today.

Sasha Davidon, also known as Miss Gabby, is a creative with a love for nostalgia and girlish whimsy. As a fashion designer, she explores the various facets of hyperfemininity through her love of story telling and visual curation. In her own creative process, she listens to her inner self and uses that voice in the creation of her art to make pieces that evoke memories and stories. As a designer, she aims to tell sentimental stories, heartfelt memories and beautiful moments.

In making this collection, it made me realize how much I want to focus on the fun and frilly. I think sometimes when looking at designs and art, people always think too hard or too deep when in some cases, art is made simply because it brings joy and fun to the creator. This is how I wanted to continue approaching my designs; incorporating the fun with the beautiful. Look Five was definitely a surprise for me, I never really expected it to be a particular favorite but throughout the design process, I grew very fond of it.
