Inspired by the quote “Lipstick on a Pig,” DEAR, LUNA reflects what it feels like to be a teenager in the age of social media, surrounded by people who seem perfect online and the pressure to live up to those standards. It’s that feeling where no matter how you dress, put on makeup, or try your best, you never quite feel as perfect as they look. It also captures the sense of being under a “spotlight,” like a main character, but with self-doubt and pessimism, even when no one is really paying attention.
