Panelé is a study of transformation — from raw to risen, from soft to structured. Inspired by Filipino breadmaking traditions, the collection captures the stages of growth through color, form, and texture. Each look mirrors the process of baking: raw, golden, and finally burnt — a reflection of time, pressure, and creation.

Through layered fabrics, rounded silhouettes, and tactile surfaces, Panelé tells a story of nostalgia and becoming — how something ordinary, like bread, can rise into something meaningful. It is both a tribute to the warmth of home and a meditation on change — how heat, patience, and craft shape not only what we make, but who we become.

Kassandra Teves Gandionco, founder and designer of KASSA, is a Fashion Design and Merchandising student at De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde, known for her thoughtful approach to storytelling through structure, texture, and form. Growing up in Dumaguete, she draws inspiration from the quiet rhythm of the province and the refined energy of city life — merging both worlds into her designs.

Her work explores the relationship between nostalgia and modernity, often reimagining familiar Filipino elements with a contemporary sensibility. Through KASSA, Kassandra creates pieces that bridge warmth and sophistication — wearable reflections of culture, craft, and connection.
