Rooted in a fascination with the sea’s elusive nature how much of it remains undiscovered, yet it holds immense beauty, depth, and life the collection explores the tension between what is seen and what lies hidden. Much like the ocean itself, it reveals a world that is both delicate and commanding, serene yet full of untold mysteries. Through each piece, The Sunken Mystery seeks to submerge the viewer in a dreamlike realm where the haunting allure of the deep becomes a reflection of beauty found in the unknown.
Amanda Jane Laguipo, a fashion designer whose work explores the boundaries of machine knitting by blending traditional craftsmanship with modern design sensibilities. I specialize in using natural and sustainable materials, often incorporating upcycled yarns and fibers sourced from thrifted pieces. My design philosophy centers on textile experimentation, where texture and form emerge organically through process-driven creation. Rooted in curiosity and sustainability, my work reflects a continuous dialogue between material, technique, and innovation.
