OUBAITORI is a collection rooted in self-reflection and growth. Born from a period of self-doubt and comparison, it draws inspiration from the Japanese philosophy oubaitori — a reminder that, like flowers, each person blooms in their own unique path and time. The collection explores the life cycle of a flower, from blooming and flourishing to falling and renewal, symbolizing the quiet yet powerful stages of personal transformation. Using eco-print dyeing, each piece captures the organic beauty of nature, allowing real leaves and petals to imprint their unique marks onto the fabric — a visual metaphor for individuality and ephemerality. Through this process, OUBAITORI embraces imperfection, stillness, and the strength it takes to start again. Ultimately, it is a celebration of resilience, authenticity, and the beauty of becoming.
