The Rise of Veiiries speaks to the start of Veiicha’s journey in the fashion industry. Rooted in the rich cultural and natural landscape of Capiz, the collection reflects the values instilled in him by the people who paved his path. Drawing inspiration from the province’s natural beauty—its beaches, caves, and most importantly, its vibrant fishery, which symbolizes the lifestyle he grew up with—the collection captures the intricacy and beauty of these elements through a cohesive play of experimental surfaces.
Veiicha is a designer recognized for his distinctive fashion illustrations and unique design approach. With a background in Fashion Design and Merchandising from De La Salle–College of Saint Benilde and couture training from Istituto Secoli in Milan, he combines technical expertise with conceptual depth. His work emphasizes texture, the feminine silhouette, and intricate detailing, creating pieces that embody both artistry and refinement.
The Rise of Veiiries is a collection that doesn’t just show my roots; each look represents the growth I have harnessed over the years as a person. Developing this collection shaped how I truly feel about each archetype, from how the muse visually appears down to every single detail of each look. The design development was probably my favorite part of the collection. I took a leap of faith and decided to take a year-long break from my studies to fully understand what it truly means to intentionally develop a collection as a creative and to work at my own pace, allowing me to explore more techniques and understand how each material coordinates with every look. This collection inspired me to continue creating and to be more motivated to understand life through the people around me and transform that inspiration into something meaningful.
