This collection is an ode to my grandmother, and the quiet strength carried by those who lived through the Korean War. Through her eyes, I saw a world marked by hardship, but also by beauty found in the smallest, simplest things: the laughter of children amid ruins, the color of joy in unlikely places, the small pleasures that made survival feel human.

“Honoring the resilience of the past while embracing the optimism of the future” isn’t just a concept, it’s the mindset that shaped everything. This isn’t just a story about war. It’s about finding peace in motion, strength in stillness, and style in survival.

There’s a Korean saying: “꽃이 지고 나면 열매가 맺는다”. After the flowers fall, the fruit sets. This collection is that moment. A turning point. It doesn’t just remember, it transforms.

I am Ji Sung Park(박지성), a fashion designer who blends the energy of the streets with the ease of life under the sun. With a degree in Fashion Design and Merchandising from De La Salle–College of Saint Benilde and Fashion Business Management from the Fashion Institute of Technology New York, my multicultural journey has shaped a design philosophy that balances bold expression with quiet simplicity. Guided by Just Simple Pleasures, I create pieces that encourage people to live fully, dress freely, and find beauty in the everyday. My work draws from a mix of cultures, personal experiences, and a deep appreciation for the small details that give life its charm, resulting in clothing that feels both modern and timeless.

A quiet thank you to my grandma who has always shared her stories with me whenever we meet. Her warmth and memories became the foundation of this collection. I wanted to honor her in a sincere way because she means everything to me. Translating her stories into clothing was the most meaningful part of the process. It pushed me to slow down and look deeper into the materials details and silhouettes I chose. Bringing everything to life in the final stage felt like giving her stories a new life.
