“Whispers of Spring” reinterprets the traditional cheongsam through the art of print and inclusive design. Inspired by the resilience of bamboo and the poetic rhythm of Chinese calligraphy, each piece features delicate ink, like patterns that flow gracefully across the fabric. The interplay of green, black, and white evokes the calm awakening of spring. This collection celebrates women of all shapes and forms, breaking away from rigid beauty ideals. Through modern tailoring and expressive prints, it conveys harmony, confidence, and the beauty of inner renewal.
As a designer raised in Manila’s Chinatown, I am influenced by both Chinese and Filipino cultures. My design philosophy blends heritage and innovation while advocating inclusivity in fashion. Through Whispers of Spring, I express my fascination with bamboo, calligraphy, and ink’s gentle diffusion symbols of strength and grace. This collection embodies my vision of beauty beyond size, where every woman can wear tradition with modern confidence.
