Vengeance of the Dames is a tribute to the brave women who fought against oppression and paved the way for our rightful place in society today.
The collection reimagines strength by drawing inspiration from women condemned as witches during the Medieval and Renaissance eras—those who defied societal norms and endured brutal punishments. By referencing historical torture practices, the design transforms chains and metal from oppressive tools into powerful symbols of rebellion and defiance. A contemporary twist is introduced through the use of businesswear fabrics such as gabardine, Armani wool, and polyester, bridging the gap between the past and the empowered, modern-day girl boss.
The five designs evolve through time, beginning with silhouettes from the Renaissance, Medieval, and Edwardian periods before gradually transitioning into contemporary forms. Each look marks a historical shift, illustrating the journey from persecution to power. This collection honors all Dames—past, present, and future—who continue to rise, reclaim their strength, and redefine what it means to lead.
