Part 1 is a holistic approach towards managing workplace health and safety with strong emphasis on health risk management including occupational health and hygiene, human factors and ergonomics, and emerging risks such as nano-materials. It covers a wide range of general and specific safety issues including crowd safety, working at heights and flammable substances.

 

Part 2 introduces the concepts and strategies for Corporate Social Responsibility. Helping participants understand and assess the need for integrating social and environmental concerns reflecting organizational values and objectives through strategic CSR. It examines tools and communication strategies and explore different monitoring and evaluation approaches. This include topic on building CSR capabilities and expertise.
