This program is designed to create among participants a full understanding of the role of training and development in the continued growth of human capital, which is crucial for the strategic success of the organization. Its strong focus is on the development of capabilities in the learning and development aspect of human capital, the organizational resource that has a great role in the successful attainment of the organizational vision and mission.
Module 1: Training Needs Analysis and Evaluation
This module will cover topics related to strategic training needs analysis and evaluation including the approaches, methods and tools appropriate for their role in the organizational context.
Module 2: Training Design and Development
This module on Training Design and Development comes after the training needs in an enterprise have been identified. It will focus on the design that will show what areas should be covered and what learning tools should be used to fill the gaps that have been pinpointed in the needs analysis.
Module 3: Training Delivery and Facilitation
This module will open all doors for opportunities using effective modes of training delivery to ensure the effective transfer of learning during a training event. Relevant theories and principles on learning will be provided followed by exercises where the participant will get the chance to experience actual application of said theories and principles. Participants will also be exposed to various teaching methodologies through actual demonstrations until such time that they become comfortable in their usage.

Module 4: Strategic Training Management
This module examines the critical components necessary to ensure that an organization’s training initiatives are linked to its business needs and can provide significant measurable results. It covers issues such as training management function which the trainer must effectively perform. It also dwells on the learning strategies that will encourage the creation of learning and development systems and programs that will create and sustain critical impact for the organization.
Module 5: Technology-Supported Training and Development
This course is designed to introduce you to the different technology tools for training and development, learning management systems, E-learning course design and development to be applied to existing or present LMS design. Learn to apply new knowledge to design and prototype LMS courses and programs. Present your technology applied training systems in class for critique and further iterative development.
