Ronald “Gonz” Gonzales
is a business process and technology consultant with multi- functional experience in various industries in local, regional and global settings.
Gonz assisted organizations achieve practical controls to enterprise risk and attain regulatory compliance to standards such as ISO 27001 (Information Security Management), ISO 22301 (Business Continuity Management), PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) and Sarbanes-Oxley.
Gonz has led numerous projects covering vulnerability assessment and penetration testing, digital forensics, security capability improvement, information security audits and policy reviews.
Functional areas Gonz has experience in are information security, quality and controls, risk and compliance, business resilience & continuity, business process management, IT strategy and governance, project management, business intelligence, continuous improvement and service management.
In his immediate past role, Gonz served as Service Management Lead for Mondelēz Business Services (global shared services for Mondelēz International) in charge of the Service Management Group. Before joining Mondelēz, Gonz served as Director for Performance & Technology / Risk Advisory Services at KPMG Philippines and lead local and cross-border advisory engagements.
Gonz’s past professional experience includes serving as Director for Knowledge and Transformation for Prople BPO, IT consultant for Ayala Corporation, IT Head of AstraZeneca Philippines, and Operations Manager for D.F. King & Co. in New York.
Gonz received his B.A. in Public Administration from the University of the Philippines, Diliman and a candidate for a Master’s degree in Technology Management in the same University. He also attended the City University of New York’s Baruch College (application development graduate certificate program) and the U.S. Army Field Artillery School in Fort Sill, Oklahoma.
Gonz is certified in IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundations, an Information Security Management System (ISMS – ISO27001) Certified Practitioner, Certified Payment-Card Industry Security Implementer (CPISI) and a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).
