This module will open all doors for opportunities using effective modes of training delivery to ensure the effective transfer of learning during a training event. Relevant theories and principles on learning will be provided followed by exercises where the participant will get the chance to experience actual application of said theories and principles. Participants will also be exposed to various teaching methodologies through actual demonstrations until such time that they become comfortable in their usage.

At the end of the module the participant will be able to:
Review the basic concepts in Training: Definition, Characteristics, Benefits, Stages and Justifications;
Recognize what is an empowered trainer and determine how he/she can be one;
Compare and contrast Adult Learning (Andragogy) and Child Learning (Pedagogy) and point out the rationale of using Adult Learning in Training;
State the significance of the learning process in T & D;
Describe key learning theories and principles and demonstrate how to apply them in training;
Name the role of perception in learning;
State his/her strengths and weaknesses as a facilitator and discover how he/she can improve as such;
Analyze the stages in an effective communication process; and
Demonstrate how an effective presentation is done and how various group training methods are carried out.
