This course is designed to introduce you to the different technology tools for training and development, learning management systems, E-learning course design and development to be applied to existing or present LMS design. Learn to apply new knowledge to design and prototype LMS courses and programs. Present your technology applied training systems in class for critique and further iterative development.

At the end of the module the participant will be able to:
Define technology-based learning and state its characteristics and importance in an organization, either in government, industry and education;
Differentiate the different types of technology-based learning, like e-learning and computer-based learning;
Identify the issues and concerns of technology-based learning and provide for an appropriate response;
Describe and present the evolving practices and pedagogical approaches to e-learning, like blended learning approach;
Plan, design, develop an e-learning program based on his/her own organization’s situation;
Familiarize himself/herself with the elements of e-learning management systems and processes for effectively administering and maintaining an e-learning environment;
Acquire the necessary skills for effectively assessing an e-learning program in a training organization, in either government, industry or education.
