The About Time collection is about reclaiming the narrative. It’s about time lingerie was designed with the wearer’s story in mind—not the viewer’s fantasy. Each piece in the collection is a response to a long history of objectification, offering women something that celebrates their autonomy.

“About Time” reframes lingerie as something intimately yours. This collection isn’t
about hiding the sensuality of lingerie. It’s about reclaiming it. It’s about who that sensuality belongs to—and it is about time it belonged solely to women.

Rose Emery is a designer and a multidisciplinary creative from Fashion Design & Merchandising at De La Salle College of Saint Benilde, with complementary studies in SoFa Design Institute and advanced training at Istituto Secoli in Milan, she works at the intersection of fashion design, brand identity, marketing, and visual storytelling. Her journey has been shaped by a fascination with how clothing, imagery, and atmosphere can influence perception and emotion. She has always believed that the smallest details can hold the greatest impact and these moments of intention are what transform a design from something simply seen into something truly felt.

For Rose, the most meaningful designs are born from flexibility, curiosity, and the courage “to do”, and that design is about more than what meets the eye—it’s about crafting experiences that are lived, remembered, and carried forward.

The most challenging part of designing this collection was unlearning the traditional narratives that frame lingerie through objectification and the male gaze, while still honoring its intimacy and sensuality. As a designer, I had to constantly question my own design instincts and ask whether each decision served the wearer’s autonomy or reinforced external expectations. Pushing through this discomfort taught me that intention is as important as form, and that design can be both intimate and empowering without being performative.

The stage I would wnt people to see the most is the part where I reflect on personal experiences and the stories of women around me. This phase grounds the collection in emotional truth and most importantly, lived realities. It matters because it explains why each design exists and who it is for. Seeing this part of the process highlights the intentionality behind every decision. It shows that the collection is more than just the aesthetics but also empowerment.
