The new year began with recruitment in full swing through Benilde Preview Unplugged, while the Lasallian Mission Week united the Community in reflection and celebration. Partnerships and exchanges opened new pathways for students, and creativity shone through milestone exhibits and showcases in design and fashion. Pride soared with awards and achievements, setting a strong tone for the year ahead.
Benilde’s new inbound students began their second term of Academic Year 2025-2026 with a whole‑day cultural and food tour on January 7.
The College signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Nayong Pilipino Foundation to expand their partnership in tourism and cultural education. The agreement was sealed on January 19, 2026 at Café Romançon, Hotel Benilde.
The signing of a memorandum of understanding between Benilde and TopFlite Academy on January 23, 2026 at Subic Bay International Airport introduced new opportunities for students in the Tourism Management Program.
Benilde’s Production Design Program (ABPRD) celebrated its 30th year with re/visions: building worlds, a showcase held from January 10 to 24, 2026 at Fundación Sansó in San Juan, Metro Manila.
The Benilde Open Design + Art 2025 has announced the members of its jury. The program invites bold ideas that explore sustainability, creativity, and technology under the theme Extension of Nature. The jury will select grantees who will receive production grants to bring their projects to life.
Sinulid 2026 lives online. The graduating batch of Benilde’s Fashion Design and Merchandising (AB-FDM) students built a digital showcase for their thesis collections, marking the program’s 30th anniversary and the 10th year of Sinulid.

Lasallian Mission Week 2026 brought the Benildean Community together in prayer, service and festivities. The week opened with a Mass Celebration that set the tone for the days ahead. Associates joined the BHP General Assembly where achievements were recognized and milestones were celebrated.
The 33rd Gawad Benildyano honored individuals who embody the Lasallian spirit of excellence and service. The Mission Week Bazaar, organized with the De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde Alumni Association, raised donations for KAWA Pilipinas and gave the Community a chance to support a meaningful cause.
Creativity and camaraderie came alive during the Lasallian Superheroes Cosplay, reminding everyone that whatever our role or office mandate is, we all share in the Lasallian Mission. The Sallobration Potluck and the Birthday Bash Party added warmth and joy, giving the community moments to connect and celebrate together.
The online activity LaRCy Asks… You Answer! turned social media feeds into lively spaces for research and discovery. Benildeans joined a six-day scavenger hunt that tested their skills and brought the library’s hidden gems to light. Daily missions filled timelines with creative posts and proved that research can be trending content too.
Lasallian Mission Week 2026 showed how faith, service and fellowship continue to thrive in Benilde.
Benilde is honored for winning Silver Anvil Awards for PR Program in Corporate Identity/Corporate Branding and PR Program in Diversity and Inclusion at the 61st Anvil Awards for its campaign Free To Be Like No Other, in collaboration with Dentsu Philippines.


Congratulations to our Benilde Senior High School STEM students Crzhna Bulanadi, Fiona Ip, Fiona Co, Cassey Morales, and Isabhel Saraza who were named among the Top 5 global finalists in the SDG 13: Climate Action category of The Guardian Initiative for their project Virelia.
Congratulations to our very own, Coach Stephen “Pen” Fernandez for his election as the new President of the Philippine Olympians Association (POA).
Congratulations to our Benilde CLR – Br. Fidelis Leddy Center for Learning Resources for winning Paarl (Philippine Association of Academic/Research Librarians, Inc.)’s Innovative Library Design Award (Medium Size Category) for 2025. This recognition celebrates and affirms the College’s commitment to providing spaces conducive for innovation and inclusion.




Congratulations to our National Institute of Accounting Technicians (NIAT) passers! The National Institute of Accounting Technicians (NIAT) is the premier professional body in the Philippines that administers the globally recognized Certified Accounting Technician (CAT®) program to validate specialized skills in bookkeeping, cost accounting, and taxation.
The Benilde Blazers men’s and women’s volleyball teams are serving up strong performances in the NCAA elimination round, keeping themselves firmly among the top contenders. Follow Benilde Sports on Facebook for the latest game updates and standings.
Admission for the 3rd Term of Academic Year 2025–2026 opened on January 16, 2025, with entrance examinations scheduled on February 28 and March 28.
Admission for the 1st Term of Academic Year 2026–2027 is extended, with the next exam dates set February 28, March 28, and April 18.
