Sixteen startups from the Benilde Trailblazer Startup incubation program have joined and finished the rigorous BAJ Accelerator May Cohort 2025. BAJ Accelerator is a six-day intensive program in New York that supports early-stage companies with expert-led workshops, targeted coaching and meaningful networking opportunities. These startups are part of the BTS (Benilde Trailblazer Startup) incubation Program of Benilde HIFI, a DOST-accredited Technology Business Incubator based at the Peter D. Garrucho Jr. Innovations Institute in Malate, Manila. Benilde HIFI transforms projects originating from capstone assignments, faculty research and alumni initiatives into innovative business ventures that reflect the school’s strength in digital interactive media and design.
A group of startups in the cohort showcase strong technological innovation and digital prowess. Pitaka (VTI), led by Emman Navalan and Ralph Acbd, offers a crypto wallet designed for seamless blockchain transactions. Get Your Visa, founded by Carlyn Gabon, harnesses artificial intelligence to simplify global visa applications. SurroundCast, driven by Mike Constantino and Christel Boncan Constantino, delivers immersive audio branding solutions. REVAstaff, founded by OJ Lopez, provides advanced real estate content creation through AI. Mylo.app, created by Vincent Rocha, supports children’s speech development with cutting-edge AI technology. Their digital innovations exemplify the practical application of technology skills developed at Benilde HIFI.
Another set of startups focuses on transforming education and professional training. Cross Ed, founded by Juan Mapua Banal, pioneers inquiry-based learning methods that blend academic theory with real-world practice. Global Ultrasound Institute (GUSI), co-led by Dr. Mena Cayetana Ramos, enhances healthcare training by offering point-of-care ultrasound education for medical professionals. These ventures take the academic rigor that Benilde HIFI instills and turn it into market-relevant solutions.
A strong commitment to sustainability and social impact is evident in several ventures. Tambanokano Aqua Farm, led by Orange Silverio, improves local livelihoods with sustainable aquaculture practices. Rezbin, founded by Mari Martirez, employs technology to drive more efficient waste management and recycling. Eco-Uling by Project Lily Inc., created by Aya Fernandez, transforms coconut waste into eco-friendly charcoal. InvestEd Philippines, managed by Carmina Bayombong, expands educational opportunities by providing student loans to underprivileged youth. Their work mirrors the social responsibility and community engagement promoted at Benilde HIFI.
Startups in the lifestyle and entertainment space bring creative content and immersive experiences to life. Serye FM, co-founded by Ronster Baetiong and Ivy Barnachea, advances Filipino storytelling through serialized audio content. Hideout Gaming Room, established by Therence John Molina Resabal, creates immersive spaces for gaming enthusiasts. Their projects capture the innovative mindset and digital creativity encouraged through the College’s emphasis on interactive media and design excellence.
Vega Energy Services, managed by William Alcantara, stands out by helping companies improve energy efficiency and reduce operational costs. Championing a practical and solution-driven approach, the Benilde HIFI program finds its essence in this venture.
Other startups in the cohort include Limitless by Dale Bernardo and DATAI by Tom Farrugia. They add to the diverse portfolio of innovators established through Benilde HIFI.
