Guidelines for Applying for Scholarships or Grants

  1. At DLS-CSB, applying for a scholarship is a separate process from admission. During the admission application, you will be asked, “Are you applying for the BENILDE scholarship?” You must select YES or NO. If the applicant selects YES, the Scholarships and Grants Unit will be notified of their interest in applying for a scholarship.

  2. Scholarships are open only to incoming first-year college students for the 1st Term, Academic Year 2026-2027. Transferees are generally not eligible, except for the Athletic Recruit, BASAP, and SDEAS Grants, which accept applications from both first-year and transferee students.
  3. Applicants must be Filipino citizens. Those with dual citizenship are required to submit an Order of Recognition, PSA Birth Certificate, and a valid Philippine passport.
  4. Each applicant may apply for only one type of scholarship at DLS-CSB.
  5. Applicants from the Express Lane (Benilde Senior High School students) and Green Lane (students from DLSP member schools) must take the Benilde Entrance Exam (BEE) as part of the scholarship requirements. 
  6. Scholarship applications will be evaluated based on:
    • Benilde Entrance Exam (BEE) results or an equivalent
    • Previous academic records (Secondary Scholastic Record)
    • Interviews, auditions, or portfolio as required by the degree program
    • Complete submission of all required scholarship documents
  7. Scholarship applications may be disqualified under the following circumstances:
    • Incomplete submissions of required documents 
    • Late submissions of the application (beyond the deadline)
    • There is falsification or withholding of any information
  8. Please note that all scholarship types are highly competitive, have varying qualifications and requirements, and offer a limited number of slots.

Note: To receive a schedule for the Benilde Entrance Exam (BEE), you must submit all required documents and pay the application fee. All applicants who wish to apply for a scholarship are required to take the Benildean Entrance Exam (BEE).

Academic Scholarships

The Benildean Excellence in Scholastics and Talent (BEST) Scholarship is an invitation-only academic scholarship awarded to incoming first-year college students who have demonstrated outstanding academic performance and strong leadership qualities throughout their Junior and Senior High School years.

This scholarship is open to all undergraduate academic programs, except the Bachelor of Applied Deaf Studies (BAPDST).

Scholarship Pre-Qualifications:

  • Must be a Filipino citizen.
  • Must have an active admission application.
  • Must rank among the Top 100 in the Benilde Entrance Exam (BEE) taken between October 11, 2025, and January 31, 2026.
  • Must have a High School Grade Point Average (HSGPA) of at least 95% (Grades 7 to 11), with no grade lower than 90% in any grade level based on the submitted Secondary Scholastic Record.
  • Must demonstrate leadership qualities in JHS and SHS as shown in submitted extracurricular and co-curricular activities forms.
  • Must have graduated from Senior High School with High Honors or Highest Honors as per DepEd criteria or an equivalent.
  • Must have a desirable conduct or deportment with no major or pending disciplinary cases.


Scholarship Coverage:

  • Full scholarship covering 100% of tuition and fees for the duration of the program, based on the program flowchart.
  • Term stipend/allowance.


Scholarship Screening Procedure:

Initial Screening:

The Scholarships and Grants team will:

  • Check and review the student’s Benilde Entrance Exam (BEE) results, academic performance based on the submitted Secondary Scholastic Record (SSR), and leadership involvement based on extracurricular and co-curricular activity forms.
  • Prepare a shortlist of candidates who will be invited to complete the Scholarship Application Form and submit additional documents, such as certificates of honors, awards, leadership achievements from JHS/SHS, and a video essay.


Second Screening:

The Scholarships and Grants Committee will:

  • Evaluate and rank the candidates for conditional acceptance.
  • Require all conditionally accepted candidates to graduate from Senior High School with High Honors or Highest Honors or an equivalent.
  • Award BEST Scholarship slots on a first-come, first-served basis.

Scholarship Application Period: September 15, 2025 – January 15, 2026

  • To be identified and invited as a BEST Scholarship candidate, students must take the Benilde Entrance Exam (BEE) between October 11, 2025 and January 31, 2026.

Scholarship Results: April 30, 2026

To Secure the BEST Scholarship Slot (upon conditional acceptance), students must submit:

  • A copy of their Grade 12 grades.
  • Certification of honors from their school confirming graduation with High Honors or Highest Honors status, including their rank within the graduating batch.

For applicants from public and parochial schools.

The HONORS Scholarship is an academic scholarship awarded to incoming first-year college students from public and parochial schools who have consistently demonstrated academic excellence and strong leadership qualities throughout their Junior and Senior High School years.

This scholarship is open to all undergraduate academic programs, except the Bachelor of Applied Deaf Studies (BAPDST).

Scholarship Pre-Qualifications:

  • Must be a Filipino citizen.
  • Must have an active admission application.
  • Pass the Benilde Entrance Exam (BEE) taken between October 11, 2025, and January 31, 2026.
  • Must have a High School Grade Point Average (HSGPA) of at least 90% (Grades 7 to 11), with no grade lower than 85% in any grade level based on the submitted Secondary Scholastic Record.
  • Must have graduated from Senior High School with Honors or with High Honors as per DepEd criteria or an equivalent.
  • Must have a desirable conduct or deportment with no major or pending disciplinary cases.


Scholarship Coverage:

  • Full Scholarship covering 100% of tuition and fees for the duration of the program, based on the program flowchart.
  • Monthly allowance
  • Regional applicants may apply for dormitory privileges (subject to availability of slots)


Scholarship Application Procedure

    “Are you applying for the BENILDE scholarship?”

  3. Take the Benilde Entrance Exam (BEE) on your scheduled test date: Applicant will choose preferred BEE test date. To be eligible for scholarship processing, you must take the BEE between October 11, 2025, and January 31, 2026.
    • Note: Students from the Express Lane (Benilde Senior High School) and Green Lane (De La Salle Philippines member schools) are also required to take the BEE for scholarship eligibility.
  4. Scholarship Application Invitation: The Center for Admissions, Scholarships and Grants will send an official notification and invitation to applicants as part of the pre-screening process. This communication will include instructions to complete the scholarship application form, which is required to proceed with the application process.
  5. Complete the Scholarship Application Form: Applicants must:
    • Fill out the scholarship application form, indicating the specific type of scholarship they are applying for.
    • Upload all required requirements and supporting documents online through the provided platform.

For applicants who have studied from grades 7 to 12 in De La Salle Philippines schools.

The Br. Benildo Feliciano FSC Scholarship is an academic scholarship awarded to incoming first-year college students from De La Salle Philippines member schools who have consistently demonstrated academic excellence and strong leadership qualities throughout their Junior and Senior High School years.

This scholarship is open to all undergraduate academic programs, except the Bachelor of Applied Deaf Studies (BAPDST).

Scholarship Pre-Qualifications:

  • Must be a Filipino citizen.
  • Must have an active admission application.
  • Pass the Benilde Entrance Exam (BEE) taken between October 11, 2025, and January 31, 2026.

  • Must have graduated from De La Salle Philippines member schools from JHS/SHS.

The Saint Mutien Marie Wiaux Scholarship (SMMWS) is a merit scholarship awarded to incoming first-year college students applying to the degree programs under the School of Arts, Culture and Performance (SACP); School of Environment and Design (SED); and School of New Media Arts (SNMA). The SMMWS considers both academic performances and talent in the field of the arts and design.

Scholarship Pre-Qualifications:

  • Must be a Filipino citizen.
  • Must have an active admission application.
  • Pass the Benilde Entrance Exam (BEE) taken between October 11, 2025, and January 31, 2026.
  • Must have a High School Grade Point Average (HSGPA) of at least 85% (Grades 7 to 11), with no grade lower than 80% in any grade level based on the submitted Secondary Scholastic Record.
  • Talent in the Arts and/or Design as evidenced in Certificates, Portfolio of Works
  • Must have graduated from Senior High School. 
  • Must have a desirable conduct or deportment with no major or pending disciplinary cases.


Scholarship Coverage:

  • Partial Scholarship covering 100% of tuition fees only for the duration of the program, based on the program flowchart.


Scholarship Application Procedure

Second Screening:

The Scholarships and Grants Associate will

  • Submit the list of shortlisted candidates to the School Dean, Associate Dean, and Program Chairpersons, who will evaluate the candidates based on their skills and talents.
  • The Scholarships and Grants Director will rank all the candidate’s base on the recommendation by the Chairperson and other requirements related to the SMMW Scholarship.. 
  • Require all conditionally accepted candidates to be accepted in the degree program under the following schools: School of Arts, Culture and Performance (SACP); School of Environment and Design (SED); and School of New Media Arts (SNMA).
  • Award SMMW Scholarship slots on a first-come, first-served basis.


Scholarship Application Period:
September 15, 2025 – January 15, 2026

Scholarship Results: April 30, 2026

To secure the SMMW Scholarship slot, students must submit the following:

  • A letter of confirmation indicating their acceptance of the SMMW Scholarship slot.
  • The Admissions Acceptance Letter from the degree program’s

The Benilde Senior High School Academic Scholarship (BSHS-Academic Scholarship) is awarded to incoming Grade 11 students who have consistently demonstrated academic excellence and strong leadership qualities throughout their Junior High School years.

This scholarship is open to all strand programs offered under Benilde Senior High School.

Scholarship Pre-Qualifications:

  • Must be a Filipino citizen.
  • Must have an active admission application.
  • Pass the Benilde Entrance Exam (BEE) taken between October 11, 2025, and January 31, 2026.
  • Must have a High School Grade Point Average (HSGPA) of at least 90% (Grades 7 to 9), with no grade lower than 85% in any grade level based on the submitted Secondary Scholastic Record.
  • Must have graduated from Junior High School with Honors or with High Honors as per DepEd criteria or an equivalent.
  • Must have a desirable conduct or deportment with no major or pending disciplinary cases.


Scholarship Coverage:

  • Partial Scholarship covering 100% of tuition fee only for grade 11 and 12.

Financial Grants

The Pierre Romançon Grant (PRG) is a financial grant awarded to incoming first-year college students applying to the degree programs under the School of Diplomacy and Governance (SDG); the School of Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Management (SHRIM); the School of Multidisciplinary Studies (SMS); the School of Management and Information Technology (SMIT) and the School of Deaf Education and Applied Deaf Studies (SDEAS). The PRG considers both the academic performance and the financial needs of the applicant.

Scholarship Pre-Qualifications:

  • Must be a Filipino citizen.
  • Must have an active admission application.
  • Pass the Benilde Entrance Exam (BEE) taken between October 11, 2025, and January 31, 2026.
  • Must have a High School Grade Point Average (HSGPA) of at least 85% (Grades 7 to 11), with no grade lower than 80% in any grade level based on the submitted Secondary Scholastic Record.
  • Financial need as evidenced in documents submitted.
  • Must have graduated from Senior High School. 
  • Must have a desirable conduct or deportment with no major or pending disciplinary cases.
  • Financial Grants are limited to one member per family only. 

 

Scholarship Coverage:

  • Full Scholarship covers 100% Tuition and Fees or Partial Scholarship covers Tuition only for the duration of the program, based on the program flowchart.


Scholarship Application Procedure:

  1. Apply for Admission: Successfully submit your admission application by completing the online admissions registration process.

  2. Indicate Scholarship Interest: During the admission application, you will be asked:
    “Are you applying for the BENILDE scholarship?”

  • Prepare list of applicants who will be invited to complete the Scholarship Application Form and submit additional documents, such as completed grant application form, recent billing statements (e.g., utilities rental/amortizations etc.), Income Tax Return (ITR), Employment Contract, pay slips of family members generating income and applicant’s video essay.
  • Interview the applicant 


Second Screening:

The Scholarships and Grants Committee will:

  • Evaluate the applicants for conditional acceptance.
  • Require all conditionally accepted candidates to be accepted in the degree program under the School of Diplomacy and Governance (SDG); the School of Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Management (SHRIM); the School of Multidisciplinary Studies (SMS); the School of Management and Information Technology (SMIT) and the School of Deaf Education and Applied Deaf Studies (SDEAS).
  • Award Pierre Romançon Grant (PRG) slots on a first-come, first-served basis.

To secure the Pierre Romançon Grant slot, students must submit the following:

The Blessed Arnould Study Assistance Program (BASAP) is a financial grant awarded to both incoming first-year and transferee students applying to the degree programs under BSBA-major in Business Management and BSBA-major in Marketing Management. It is meant for those who will attend Night classes.

Scholarship Pre-Qualifications:

  • Must be a Filipino citizen.
  • Must have an active admission application.
  • Pass the Benilde Entrance Exam (BEE) taken between October 11, 2025, and January 31, 2026.
  • Must have graduated from Senior High School or previously studied at any tertiary institution without completing an undergraduate degree program.
  • Must demonstrate financial need, as evidenced by submitted supporting documents.
  • Must be currently employed, with a gross annual income not exceeding P325,000 (equivalent to P25,000 gross monthly income).
  • Must be at least 19 years old at the time of application.
  • Financial Grants are limited to one member per family only. 
  • Must have a desirable conduct or deportment with no major or pending disciplinary cases.


Scholarship Coverage:

  • Full Scholarship covers 100% Tuition and Fees for the duration of the program, based on the program flowchart.

Initial Screening:
The Scholarships and Grants Associate will:

  • Check and review the student’s Benilde Entrance Exam (BEE) results and academic performance based on the submitted Secondary Scholastic Record (SSR) and or Transcript of Record (TOR). 
  • Prepare list of applicants who will be invited to complete the Scholarship Application Form and submit additional documents, such as completed grant application form, recent billing statements (e.g., utilities rental/amortizations etc.), Income Tax Return (ITR), Employment Contract, pay slips of family members generating income and applicant’s video essay.
  • Interview the applicant.


Second Screening:

The Scholarships and Grants Associate will:

  • Submit the list of pre-qualified applicants to the School Dean, Associate Dean, Program Chairpersons, and the Benilde Well-Being Center. Applicants will be evaluated based on their academic potential and readiness.
  • The Scholarships and Grants Director will rank all the applicants base on the recommendation by the Chairperson, Guidance Counselor and other requirements related to the BASAP Grant. 
  • Require all conditionally accepted applicants to be accepted in the degree program under the programs under BSBA-major in Business Management and BSBA-major in Marketing Management
  • Award BASAP Grant slots on a first-come, first-served basis.

The School for Deaf Education and Applied Studies Grant (SDEASG) is a financial grant awarded to both incoming first-year and transferee students applying to the degree program under the Bachelor in Applied Deaf Studies (BAPDST). Student applicants must be medically certified as Deaf or Hard of Hearing. 

Scholarship Pre-Qualifications:

  • Must be a Filipino citizen.
  • Must have an active admission application.
  • Pass the Benilde Entrance Exam (BEE) taken between 11 October 2025 and 31 January  2026 and the additional assessment from the Center for Admissions and School and Deaf Education and Applied Studies
  • Must have a High School Grade Point Average (HSGPA) of at least 80% for every grade level from Grades 7 to 11 based on the submitted Secondary Scholastic Record.
  • Medically certified as Deaf or Hard of Hearing
  • Financial need as evidenced in documents submitted.
  • Must have graduated from Senior High School. 
  • Must have a desirable conduct or deportment with no major or pending disciplinary cases.
  • The SDEAS Grant is limited to two  Deaf or Hard-of-Hearing members per family. 


Scholarship Coverage:

  • Full Scholarship covers 100% Tuition and Fees or Partial Scholarship covers Tuition only for the duration of the program, based on the program flowchart.

  1. Apply for Admission: Successfully submit your admission application by completing the online admissions registration process.

  2. Indicate Scholarship Interest: During the admission application, you will be asked:
    “Are you applying for the BENILDE scholarship?”
    Select YES if you wish to apply. This will notify the Center for Admissions, Scholarships and Grants of your intent to apply for a scholarship.
  3. Take the Benilde Entrance Exam (BEE) on your scheduled test date: Applicant will choose preferred BEE test date. To be eligible for scholarship processing, you must take the BEE and additional assessment from the Center for Admissions and School and Deaf Education and Applied Studies
    • Note: Students from the Express Lane (Benilde Senior High School) and Green Lane (De La Salle Philippines member schools) are also required to take the BEE for scholarship eligibility.

The Benilde Senior High School Financial Assistance (BSHS-FA) is a financial grant awarded to incoming Grade 11 students who have consistently excelled academically throughout Junior High School but are financially in need. The BSHS-FA considers both the academic performance and financial circumstances of the applicant.

This scholarship  is open to students from all strand programs offered at Benilde Senior High School.

Scholarship Pre-Qualifications:

  • Must be a Filipino citizen.
  • Must have an active admission application.
  • Pass the Benilde Entrance Exam (BEE) taken between October 11, 2025, and January 31, 2026.
  • Must have a High School Grade Point Average (HSGPA) of at least 85% (Grades 7 to 10), with no grade lower than 80% in any grade level based on the submitted Secondary Scholastic Record.
  • Financial need as evidenced in documents submitted.
  • Must have graduated from Junior High School. 
  • Must have a desirable conduct or deportment with no major or pending disciplinary cases.
  • Financial Grants are limited to one member per family only. 
  • Family Gross income not exceeding P700,000.00 


Scholarship Coverage:

  • Partial Scholarship covering 100% of tuition fee only for grade 11 and 12.

Merit Scholarships

The Br. Raphael Donato Grant (BRDG) is a merit scholarship awarded to both incoming first-year college student and upper students who are artistically gifted in the field of performing arts, production and stage management, and advertising.

This scholarship is open to all undergraduate academic programs, except the Bachelor in Performing Arts in Dance (BPAD) or Bachelor of Arts in Theater Arts (ABTHA). 


Scholarship Pre-Qualifications:

Applicants must meet the following requirements to be considered for the scholarship

  • Must be a Filipino citizen.
  • Must have an active admission application to Benilde.
  • Must pass the Benilde Entrance Exam (BEE) 
  • Must be accepted into the preferred degree program based on the current assessment procedure.
  • Must have graduated from Senior High School.
  • Must demonstrate knowledge and skills in arts management and advertising (e.g., creative marketing, video production, etc.), as evidenced by submitted portfolios and/or successful trainings/auditions.
  • Must have successfully completed the screening and evaluation process conducted by the Benilde Culture and Arts Unit (BCAU), including participation in required trainings and auditions.

The Athletic Recruit Grant (ARG) is a merit scholarship awarded to incoming first-year college student, recruited transferee, and upper students who are fit to represent the College in official sports competitions. 

This scholarship is open to all undergraduate academic programs, except the Bachelor of Applied Deaf Studies (BAPDST).
