Benilde Celebrates Third Win as School of the Year at the 11th Philippine Student Quill Awards

05 September 2025

De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde has once again proven the power of student-led storytelling, earning the title of School of the Year for the third time at the 11th Philippine Student Quill Awards held on August 27, 2025, at the Manila Hotel.

The College received a total of 66 awards, with entries recognized across categories such as Special and Experiential Events, Audio/Visual, Social Media, Publications, Writing, and Marketing. Each one showed how Benildean students use communication to share stories, spark conversations, and bring important ideas to life.

In a message released by the Office of the President, Br. Edmundo Fernandez FSC praised the community’s achievement, saying, “Each award is a testament to the meaningful work we do, the stories we tell, and the values we uphold.” He added, “This recognition affirms our commitment to inclusive, innovative education and the transformative power of communication.”

While the judging process follows global standards, what truly stood out were the stories, personal, political, cultural, and institutional, that captured the heart of the Benildean experience.
