De La Salle Brothers Tap Benilde for Adopting Shared Payroll Services

30 June 2026

De La Salle Brothers, Inc. and De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde signed a Memorandum of Agreement on June 24, 2026 to formalize a shared payroll services arrangement. The partnership builds on Benilde’s expertise in human resource systems and supports the Lasallian network’s move toward more efficient administration.

Over the years, the College has developed reliable systems for HR and payroll through its PeopleCore HRIS platform. This allows Benilde to manage salaries, government contributions, and tax filings with accuracy and compliance.

DLSBI represents the Lasallian Brothers in the Philippines and oversees schools and affiliated institutions nationwide. Benilde is one of 16 De La Salle schools in the country, and its role in shared services shows how the network works together to improve operations.

The signing was held at the Office of the President Boardroom of La Salle Green Hills. Benilde was represented by Benilde Chancellor Benhur Ong and the College’s People and Organization Development Director Chona Rodulfa. DLSBI was represented by Br. Marvin Sipin FSC, Edgar Chua AFSC, and Jose Ramelle Javier.

The agreement covers payroll processing services, including deductions for government contributions, preparation of BIR forms, and submission of payroll reports. Employment records and policies remain under DLSBI’s control. The arrangement is set up as a cost-sharing measure, with fees covering system and administrative expenses.

This collaboration is part of a wider shared services model across the Lasallian network, with schools like La Salle Green Hills and De La Salle Lipa also advancing initiatives in HR and payroll administration. By sharing resources and expertise, the Lasallian schools aim to make operations smoother and keep their focus on education and community service.
