On August 9, representatives from Kenneth & Mock visited De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde to donate their new KnM Coffee Table Book. The meeting took place at the Learning Commons on the 8th floor of the Design + Arts Campus. Benilde Vice Chancellor for Academics Mr. Angelo Lacson, Benilde School of Environment and Design (SED) Dean Ar. Harvey Vasquez, and Br. Fidelis Leddy Learning Resource Center (CLR) Director Mr. Michael Mojica welcomed Kenneth & Mock representatives and accepted the donation. Ms. Stephanie delos Santos, Business Partner/EVP, and Ms. Carol Lee, Marketing Manager of Kenneth & Mock handed over the coffee table book.
Kenneth & Mock is a Filipino company specializing in premium-quality PVC-u windows and doors from Germany. It has exclusive partnerships with renowned international brands such as KÖMMERLING, VITROCSA®, and FOA Porte. Kenneth & Mock takes pride in their commitment to innovation and quality over the past two decades. The coffee table book was produced as a commemoration of their 25 years of success and a tribute to the architects and interior designers who have partnered with them. The book aims to celebrate groundbreaking architecture, radical designs, and revolutionary talents, and they expressed their eagerness to inspire the next generation of architects and designers by donating it to Benilde, particularly the College’s Architecture program.
The KnM Coffee Table Book features the works of 120 renowned architects from the Philippines, including Ed Ledesma, Ramon Antonio, Alfred Wieneke, Jonathan Matti, Ivy and Cynthia Almario, Ed Calma, Yugi and Luigi Antoni, Gelo Manosa, and Manny Minana. The book also highlights the achievements of Benilde’s part-time professor, Architect Andro Magat, and Benildean alumni Architect Alyssa Yvette Par, who won the top prize in Alterchitecture 2012, an architectural design competition.
Benilde extends its deepest gratitude to Kenneth & Mock for their commitment to supporting future architects and designers by providing access to valuable insights and inspiration from industry leaders. The KnM Coffee Table Book offers students a chance to explore the work of established architects and gain insights into innovative design practices. It is now part of the CLR’s diverse collection of resources for faculty and student use. CLR’s multimedia library supports the College’s educational philosophy with resources ranging from conventional printed materials to digital and online media.
