Seymour B. Sanchez, an award-winning filmmaker and DLS-CSB faculty member, has been appointed director of the Bacolod Film Festival by the city’s Film Festival Council. Scheduled for September in select city cinemas, the festival aims to bolster Bacolod’s cultural landscape.

Benilde Architects Topped June 2024 Licensure Exam

Benilde Architecture graduates excelled in the June 2024 Architecture Licensure Examination, with Louie Nathaniel Kiu topping the exam with 83.80% and Francisco Eslira securing the 7th spot with 82.00%. Benilde achieved an outstanding 83.64% passing rate, ranking 4th among schools with over 50 examinees, surpassing the national average of 62.14%.

De La Salle Schools Forge Green Lane Partnership to Streamline College Admissions Process

“Co-Designing Sustainability” Talk with Taiwan Design Research Institute Held at Benilde

    • The CLR Audio Visual-Taft Office will be relocating from the 2nd floor to the third floor of the Mutien Marie building at Room M304, due to the upcoming renovation.     • 12 days of pilgrimage to the different shrines in Italy, a spiritual sojourn on the Jubilee Year 2025, to deepen our appreciation and understanding of our Christian faith and tradition. Travel dates will be on February 3-14, 2025 and February 17-28, 2025.
  • Office of the President (OP)
    • Last June 12, 2024, Wednesday, the Times Higher Education’s Impact Rankings 2024 was officially released to the public. A record 2,152 higher education institutions from 125 countries and regions have submitted data to participate and I am proud that our Institution, De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde ranked 301-400 out of all the participating Institutions worldwide and ranked 1st in the Philippines in terms of impacting the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 10.
  • People Organization and Development Office (PODO)

    • All upper class students ID batch 123 and below and all transferees ID batch 123 are advised to ENLIST. The Online Enlistment period is when the students determine the courses they intend to take in the succeeding term based on their flowchart. The enlisted courses are subject to the approval of their academic adviser.
  • Center for Emergency Management, Safety, and Security (CEMSS)
    • As part of Benilde’s 35 year anniversary, CEMSS will be hosting a weeklong event on July 1-5, entitled “Benilde PRIME: Promoting Resilience through Innovation in Managing Emergencies.” This milestone event is co-presented by the Benilde Alumni Association (BAA) and supported by the Office of the Vice President for Lasallian Mission and Student Life (OVP-LMSL), and through a deep partnership with the Manila Disaster Risk Reduction & Management Office (MDRRMO), Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA), and the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP). We invite the Benildean Community to participate in this initiative. You are welcome to visit the exhibit at your convenience on any day from July 1-5, and join the pocket seminars.
