November saw Benilde advancing on multiple fronts, from new industry collaborations and creative learning events to AI‑driven innovations and campus milestones. Highlights included PRSP formalizing ties for student development, IGNITE unveiling the College’s AI roadmap, and the groundbreaking of the Delfin J. Wenceslao Jr. Campus at ASEANA City. Benildeans also celebrated wins at GDAP Game On and gathered for the Christmas tree lighting. With achievements across academics, partnerships, and sustainability, the Christmas spirit was already in the air throughout the Benildean Community.
Benilde and the Public Relations Society of the Philippines signed a Memorandum of Understanding on November 5, 2025 at Vatel Restaurant, The Atrium@Benilde Campus. The agreement sets a clear path for cooperation between the academe and the PR industry, opening opportunities for students, faculty, and professionals to work together.
The Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) Academia Roadshow arrived at Benilde on November 13, bringing tutorials, friendly matches, and a lively community of players to the Design+Arts Campus. Organized by Romançon Gaming, the student organization for Benildean gamers, in partnership with WP Gaming, the event welcomed Benildean and non-Benildean enthusiasts to learn and enjoy the world of Pokémon TCG together.
Benilde’s non‑teaching associates gathered last November 20 at the Fifth Floor Theater at Design+Arts Campus for IGNITE: Lighting the Path to Digital Transformation. The launch marked the official start of the Digital Transformation Office (DXO). The morning was filled with stories, frameworks, and roadmaps that showed how digital change is not just about technology, but about people, culture, and mission. The program was warmly hosted by Angeli Villamor, CIP Planning Officer, who guided the flow of the sessions and kept the energy high throughout the event.
SPACE, One Ayala became a meeting ground for leaders, educators, creatives, and students during the Brother Andrew Gonzalez FSC Academia‑Industry Conference (BAGCON) 2025, held on November 12–13. For two days, voices from classrooms, studios, boardrooms, and communities came together under the theme New Imaginings: Designing Future Societies. As Benilde’s annual academia‑industry gathering, BAGCON shifts its focus each year. Last year, it explored hospitality, tourism, food service, and culinary. This year, the spotlight turned to creative industries, showing how Benilde can convene conversations that matter on a global scale.
The 71st Young Hoteliers’ Exposition opened with excitement and purpose. Students, faculty, and industry partners gathered last November 21 to celebrate imagination and hospitality excellence, but the highlight was the official launch of the School of Hotel, Restaurant and Institution Management (SHRIM) microcredentialing program. This initiative is designed to give Benildeans a stronger edge in the workplace by equipping them with industry‑recognized skills and certifications across culinary, tourism, and service industries.
Impact Week PH 2025 ran from November 5 to 13 in Baguio. It was the fourth time the program was held in the Philippines and the first time outside Metro Manila. After three successful editions at Benilde HiFi in Manila, this year’s event brought fresh energy to Baguio, where students, mentors, and innovators came together for a week of design thinking and collaboration.
The Vateliens in Progress (VIP), the student organization of Benilde’s International Hospitality Management program, celebrated a season of achievements with national recognition and a successful leadership seminar.
Benilde has taken another step toward its vision of the “School of the Future” with the launch of the country’s first AI-powered School Chatbot. The initiative began in September and will be available to the public starting December 15 through the Benilde website.














On 28 November 2025, De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde marked the groundbreaking of its new Delfin J. Wenceslao Jr. Campus in ASEANA City, Parañaque. The ceremony was graced by Hon. Mayor Edwin Olivarez, Mr. Delfin Angelo “Buds” Wenceslao of DM Wenceslao & Associates Inc., Mr. Cezar Consing of Ayala Corporation and the Benilde Board of Trustees, Br. Edmundo “Dodo” Fernandez FSC, and College leaders. The campus rises at L. Celerio and A. Veneracion Streets, envisioned as “a new generation school in a new generation city.”
Congratulations to our Benilde Game Design and Development students for winning 5 of the 7 major awards in the Student Category of the Game On Competition by Game Developers Association of the Philippines – GDAP. Benilde won the following awards: Game of the Year, Best Game Design, Best in Narrative, Best Desktop Game and Innovation Award.
The Center for Built Environment and Logistics (CBEL) continues to spearhead Benilde’s Waste to Worth initiative, transforming campus recyclables into tangible support for the College’s sustainability programs. In October 2025 alone, CBEL recorded 3,232 kilograms of segregated recyclables, generating ₱9,542.00 in sales.

The Christmas season officially started in Benilde last November 19, 2025 as #EXTRO2025 kicked off with an Opening Mass and Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony at the Design + Arts Campus. EXTRO 2025 runs from November 19 – December 17, 2025, featuring various activities for the Community such as bazaars, public concerts, thanksgiving mass, parades, and more.
The Blazers face the Altas on December 13, 8:00 AM at Smart Araneta Coliseum in the NCAA Men’s Basketball third‑place playoff. Coming off a strong showing against the San Beda Red Lions in their semifinal Game 3 last December 7, the team is ready to fight for a podium finish.

The Center for Admissions, Scholarships and Grants began accepting applications for scholarships and grants on September 15, 2025. The application period runs until January 15, 2026.
Incoming students for Academic Year 2026 to 2027 are invited to explore what makes Benilde Like No Other through a guided campus tour organized by the Benilde Marketing Center. The initiative offers a firsthand look at the College’s state-of-the-art facilities, vibrant community, and innovative programs. It is part of ongoing efforts to engage and recruit future Benildeans.
