October kept Benilde moving with fresh spaces, strong partnerships, and standout moments. The Salle de Blagnac cabin service trainer, Salle de Cuisine, ASEANA site, and Benilde Well-Being Center opened new ground for learning and care. The Benildean Mission Week brought the Community together through bazaars, open house, service tributes, and campus-wide celebrations. Apple, Nestlé, and REBAP strengthened their ties with the College, while Breakthrough Batch 3, MICHELIN-recognized chefs, and Whiskey Live Manila 2025 showed Benildean leadership in action. Benilde Blazers kept the heat on in NCAA Season 101, and the Benilde Marketing Center welcomed AY 26–27 prospects with campus tours.
Salle de Blagnac, the Airbus A320 Cabin Service Trainer at Benilde’s Angelo King International Center (AKIC) Campus, has been upgraded to include business class seats and a dedicated lounge. These additions support more advanced simulations for Tourism Management students, especially those preparing for roles in premium service environments.
Apple joined the Benildean Community last October 15 at The Atrium@Benilde Campus to celebrate the College’s renewed recognition as an Apple Distinguished School. The handover ceremony marked another milestone in Benilde’s ongoing work in inclusive innovation, creative learning, and purposeful design.
Nestlé Philippines and Benilde have signed a multi-year Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) last October 13, 2025, marking a new chapter in their growing collaboration. The agreement opens up more hands-on learning experiences for students, including internships, mentorship, curriculum integration, and pathways to inclusive employment.
Hotel Benilde buzzed with energy last October 5 as De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde hosted REBAP RISE NCR 2025, a regional summit organized by the Real Estate Brokers Association of the Philippines. The event brought together licensed brokers, educators, and aspiring professionals to explore how real estate can drive ethical leadership, community-building, and lifelong learning.
Benilde celebrated 769 graduates during the 3rd Term AY 2024-2025 Commencement Exercises at the Marriott Grand Ballroom in Pasay City. This year’s ceremony carried more than celebration as it sparked civic reflection and personal resolve.

Benilde School of Hotel, Restaurant, and Institution Management launched Salle de Cuisine, another industry-grade learning facility designed to inspire culinary innovations, collaboration, and hands-on learning.
Equipped with top-of-the-line tools like the Rational iCombi Pro convection oven, Lassele stand-in chiller and freezer, full-size sink, induction stove with built-in air extractor, retractable plug-ins, and modular workstations. With these additions to the learning space, it has become a more multipurpose training space, from workshops and masterclasses to hands-on demonstrations and other interactive learning activities.
Since the furnishings are now modular and mounted on wheels, it is now easier to adapt the room layout depending on the activity.
The blessing and launch of the facility were attended by the College’s industry partners. Marianne Tiburan, Business Development Manager of Rational and Werner Berger, President and CEO of Säntis Delicatessen gave their congratulatory messages and expressed their appreciation for being partners of the College in delivering culinary education like no other.

The White Elephant Bazaar capped off Benilde’s Season of Creation celebration with four days of community generosity and creative reuse. Held from September 29 to October 2 at Greenway Square, Taft Campus, the event was organized by the Brothers’ House Program and featured pre-loved items, themed booths, and cheerful exchanges that turned clutter into support for the Benilde Scholarship Fund.
Each House brought its own flair to the bazaar, keeping the space active and welcoming. Students, faculty, and associates browsed, donated, and shared stories behind the items they gave away. The Center for Built Environment and Logistics (CBEL) helped promote the spirit of freecycling throughout the event, encouraging the Community to pass on unused items instead of throwing them away. The practice supported Benilde’s commitment to sustainability and gave new life to things that might have been forgotten.
In his message of gratitude, Br. Edmundo Fernandez FSC thanked the Community for responding to the Season of Creation with joy and purpose. He emphasized the bazaar as a moment of shared stewardship, where generosity and creativity came together to support both the planet and future scholars.
The White Elephant Bazaar closed the season with a clear message: sustainability begins with gratitude, and every small act of care makes a difference.

A fresh wave of bold ideas took center stage at the October 24 presentation of Benilde Breakthrough Batch 3, held at the 2/F Ideation Room of The Artium@Benilde. Organized by the Innovation Office, the event spotlighted associate-led projects designed to spark change, challenge norms, and move the community forward—one creative solution at a time.

Benilde has officially signed the deal with Wenceslao Group to build the Delfin J. Wenceslao Jr. Campus in ASEANA City, the future home of the School of Environment and Design and the SMIT–ACI Cluster.
Located in a fast-growing district known for walkability, green spaces, and a future-ready vibe, ASEANA gives Benilde a fresh launchpad for hands-on learning, industry linkups, and inclusive innovation. Designed by Ar. Ed Calma, the campus will feature lounges and learning spaces woven with gardens, bringing the College’s bold and creative vision to life.

It’s no surprise to see Benildeans making their mark in the 2026 MICHELIN Guide. From star-awarded chefs to Bib Gourmand honorees and MICHELIN Selected standouts, these alumni continue to raise the bar with bold flavors, grounded craft, and a deep sense of purpose.
Among the honorees:
This year’s MICHELIN lineup is just the beginning. With every new batch of Benildean chefs, restaurateurs, and culinary creatives, the future looks even more flavorful. Expect to see more bold ideas, more boundary-pushing kitchens, and more Benildeans leading the charge in the next MICHELIN Guide and beyond.

The Benildean Mission Week 2025 kicked off with the Institutional Day of Formation, as offices across all campuses came alive, welcoming associates and students into spaces filled with shared meals, laughter, games, and moments of connection.
The much-awaited Open House turned hallways into hangouts and workspaces into play zones, blending everyday routines with shared joy. From impromptu karaoke to community meals and creative booths, the day captured what makes Benilde feel like home: openness, warmth, and a spirit of togetherness.
As part of the Benildean Mission Week 2025, the Benilde Center for Social Action (CSA) held the Saint Benilde Romançon Community Engagement Awards (SBRCEA) last 24 October 2025 at the D+AC Theater, Design+Arts Campus.

Scenes at the Benilde Service Awards 2025 held last October 29 at the 5/F Theater, Design + Arts Campus. The Benildean Community gathered together to honor the over 200 Benildean faculty and associates for their years of dedication and loyalty like no other to the College.
In his inspirational message delivered during the ceremonies, Benilde President Br. Edmundo “Dodo” Fernandez FSC reflected on the meaning of service and collective purpose:
“Perhaps that is what your service represents as well: the collective dreaming for the future of Benilde. Each of you, in your own way, carries a part of that vision: a hope for what our College can still become. Some have served for five years, others for twenty or more, and yet all of you have woven your gifts, your talents, sometimes your tears, into the tapestry that is Benilde. Your dedication has helped weave Benilde’s story; one that continues to be written with every act of service, every dream for what we can still become.“

With vibrant colors and sensorial touches, the refreshed space features cozy, refurbished rooms for counseling and other BWC services—designed to feel more welcoming and supportive for students and associates.
The new office was blessed on October 10, right in time for Mental Health Month. During the ceremony, BWC also introduced one of its newest initiatives: Be Well Companion: My Well-Being Journal, a reflective tool to help the Benildean Community care for their mental and emotional health.
