Pioneering Cybersecurity Advocate from Benilde Wins Prestigious ISC2 Award

Benilde’s Ricson Singson Que, the Industry Coordinator for the Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity (BSCSEC) program, was honored with the 2024 ISC2 Inclusion Impact Award for the Asia-Pacific region. This prestigious recognition celebrates individuals who lead efforts to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in the global cybersecurity community.

Que’s visionary leadership has played a key role in driving positive change in the cybersecurity profession in the Philippines. His advocacy and initiatives have broken barriers for underrepresented groups, creating more opportunities for aspiring cybersecurity professionals in the country.

Instrumental in establishing Benilde’s BSCSEC program, Que worked closely with industry leaders to shape the curriculum and ensure it aligns with the demands of the global cybersecurity landscape. The program provides students with hands-on training and access to cutting-edge tools and technologies, enabling them to tackle cyber threats head-on and protect the country’s digital infrastructure.
