De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde School of Management and Information Technology (SMIT) is the first educational institution in the Philippines to integrate Academic Hadoop cluster using the Amazon Web Services’ Elastic MapReduce in its classes.

De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde took home the #NCAASeason99 Swimming Juniors Division title. Benilde Coach Evan Grabador was also awarded as the tournament’s Coach of the Year. Animo Benilde!

Benilde HIFI is awarded Outstanding Technology Business Incubator (TBI) on-Training by DOST PCIEERD HEI Readiness for Innovation and Technopreneurship – 2.0.

NEW PAASCU ACCREDITATIONS

The Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities or PAASCU granted a five-year reaccreditation to the Benilde Human Resource Management, Export Management, and Computer Application programs, and an initial three-year accreditation to the Benilde Industrial Design, Interior Design, Architecture, and Animation programs.
