Important Information for Filipino Deaf and Hard of Hearing Applicants of the Bachelor in Applied Deaf Studies Program

Welcome to the De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde School of Deaf Education and Applied Studies (Benilde SDEAS)!
Deaf and Hard of Hearing Grade 12 students or high school graduates can apply for the 1st term of the Academic Year 2023-2024. Bachelor in Applied Deaf Studies (BAPDST) offers 3 tracks: Business Outsourcing Services Management, Visual Media Arts, or Entrepreneurship.
Please take note of the following important schedules for 1st Term, AY 2023-2024.
College Application Period:
- Batch 1: October 17-December 15, 2022
- Batch 2: January 5-March 15, 2023
- Batch 3: March 16-April 30, 2023
- Batch 4: May 1-30, 2023 (Paying applicants only)
- Late Application Appeal: June 1-July 15, 2023 (Paying applicants only)
Note: The scholarship application deadline has been extended until April 30, 2023. See Step 8 below.
Release of Results Online:
- May 31, 2023 (Batches 1-3)
- June 30, 2023 (Batch 4)
Start of Classes:
August 2023 (1st term, AY 2023-2024)
Testing Date:
In compliance with government protocols on health and safety, the Benildean Entrance Exam (BEE) is temporarily waived. As an alternative to the BEE, the Center for Admissions will assess the student’s previous grades and review their admission requirements. Incomplete submission of requirements will not be processed. Online interviews may also be required as an additional form of assessment.
Tip: It is best to submit the application and supporting documents as early as possible.

Step 1:
Click on the links below to view videos in FSL and read written documents for the requirements and procedures.

Step 2:
Before filling out the online form at the DLS-CSB Admissions Application Portal, make sure you select as follows:
Step 2.1: Click “Apply” button (green).
Step 2.2: Select School Year Application Form Type.
- 2023-2024 UNDERGRADUATE-FIRST YEAR COLLEGE; or
- 2023-2024 UNDERGRADUATE-TRANSFER STUDENT (if you wish to transfer to DLS-CSB after enrolling in other colleges or universities, you can select a transfer student.)
Step 2.3: Click “Create Application” button (blue) and select.
- Application is made as a: “FIRST YEAR COLLEGE STUDENT” or “TRANSFER STUDENT”
- For Academic Year: “2023-2024” and “1ST TRIMESTER”
Complete the Online Application Form at https://apps1.benilde.edu.ph/apply.

Step 3:
Pay the Php 200 Application Fee. Click on the following link to view the Payment Procedures for the Admissions Processing Fee.
Step 4:
Scan the following documents:
- Accomplished Online Application Form with signature
- Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) birth certificate
- Proof of Payment – Php 200 Application Fee (see STEP 3)
- Other required documents (see STEP 1)
Send all scanned documents via email to undergraduate.application@benilde.edu.ph with the subject heading “[BAPDST] Application Requirements Submission”.

NOTE: Avoid sending multiple emails, just send one (1) email containing all of the requirements. Only those with complete requirements will be processed.
STEP 5:
Wait for the Benilde Center for Admissions to email you about the result of your application on or before May 31, 2023. You may also check the online portal website.
STEP 6:
Accepted and conditionally accepted applicants may confirm their degree slot by paying the reservation fee and submitting the original confirmation/enrollment documents. Submit hard copies of original documents (see STEP 1: List of Requirements) via courier delivery (e.g. LBC, JRS, Grab, Mr. Speedy, or Lalamove) or place them in the dropbox located at the front of the DLS-CSB Taft campus. The mail delivery fees will be shouldered by the Applicant.
