For Applicants with Specific Education Needs:

De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde aims to provide educational opportunities for diversely gifted learners including applicants with special education needs (SEN). The final acceptance or non-acceptance of SEN applicants is based on the merits of their application and the ability of the College to provide services for their conditions.

SEN applicants refer to those who have a physical disability (e.g. heart condition, blind, Deaf / Hard of Hearing), specific learning needs (e.g. dyslexia, ADHD, ASD), or psychological/mental health condition that affected schooling before/or may affect schooling at Benilde.

SEN applicants are advised to apply earlier to avoid delays in application processing.

Note that if this is not disclosed during the application, the College is not obliged to provide the applicant with any support or reasonable accommodation for the condition and will be treated as a regular applicant/student.

Degree Program Choices:

The online application portal will ask applicants their 1st, 2nd, and 3rd degree program choices. The Admissions Committee will evaluate the applicant based on their choice starting with the 1st choice until the 3rd choice. If an applicant is accepted into the 1st choice, the committee will no longer evaluate the 2nd and 3rd choice. If an applicant did not qualify for their 1st choice, they will be screened for their 2nd and 3rd choice. Once an applicant has been accepted in any of their choices, they are advised to proceed with confirmation and enrollment.

For Deaf/Hard of Hearing applicants who wish to apply for the Bachelor in Applied Deaf Studies (BAPDST), make sure to select “BAPDST” as your 1st choice.

Changes to the accepted program are NOT allowed once confirmed. If an applicant receives a “Not Accepted” status, they did not qualify for their choices.
