Benilde Expands Exchange Program with EduConnect USA Partnership

De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde (DLS-CSB) has formed an exciting partnership with EduConnect USA, a premier educational consultancy specializing in connecting international students with top U.S. universities. This collaboration will create new opportunities for students and faculty through academic exchange programs, joint research initiatives, and professional training experiences in U.S. higher education institutions (HEIs).
The memorandum of understanding was signed by EduConnect USA President and CEO Rodrigue Colaianni, Benilde President Br. Edmundo Fernandez FSC, and Benilde Chancellor Mr. Benhur Ong. Benilde Vice Chancellor for Academics was also present during the signing.
EduConnect USA, recognized for its expertise in guiding students through educational pathways and visa processes, will support Benildeans in pursuing advanced degrees while gaining hands-on experience through programs like Curricular Practical Training (CPT) and Optional Practical Training (OPT). This partnership equips students with both academic and practical skills, preparing them for global success.
EduConnect USA was also one of the major sponsors in the recently concluded Br. Andrew Gonzalez Academia-Industry Conference. Hosted this year by the School of Hotel, Restaurant, and Institution Management (SHRIM), which houses the Hospitality and Luxury Management, Culinary Arts Management, Tourism Management, and International Hospitality Management programs, this year’s conference focused on advancing tourism education. With a theme centered around unlocking global excellence, the event highlighted trends in academic accreditation, international collaborations, and emerging technologies in tourism education. Experts from around the world shared insights on how the academe can respond to the evolving demands of the industry, positioning students for future success.
